Don't Fall Through the Crack -- Getting Students to Go Vote!

I have meant to write a quick blog post on the elections before it happens so here it is.

With 9 million new registered voters, this is definitely a very important election for Americans and for the rest of the world!!! It is clear this time that even if Democrats get a few more votes, it might not be sufficient because their flawed voting system called Electoral College has allowed Republicans to win the last two elections with slightly fewer votes than the Democrats. For that reason, field work to get all potential voters to the polling stations is crucial. One of the demographic group that could make a difference are students.

Campus Progress, a leading national progressive youth organization, has launched a campaign to encourage students to get out and vote on November 4th in the following key US states: Colorado, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
What are your thoughts?
