Myspace MyAds Beta. Relevant for Canadian Marketers?

On the 13th of October, Myspace released their new advertising platform... Like Facebook and most importantly, Google Adwords, it allows marketers to micro-target their audience.

Is it relevant for Canadian marketers looking to reach out to students?

If they follow in Facebook's footsteps, marketers' results might not be as high as expected in the beggining.
More importantly, Canadian students are for the most part on Facebook, so the answer is no. However, the majority of Canadian students still using Myspace today is primarily to be browsing or promoting music. So I would say yes if the product or service being marketed is music-related.
